There is a notable transition from what music used to be to what it is now. The trends are fast changing and the industry evolves competitively. There has been an uprising of highly talented artists who have added more beauty to what music is known for. Face The Great, a young, promising and talented musician happens to be one of these great voices. His approach to music is both unique and captivating and he has proven beyond doubt that he is in the industry to create a distinctive lores for his generation.

Face The Great goes by the biological name Darron Dale Rowe.He is a passionate young man who was born on April 9, 1991, in the Bronx, NY on 181st & Anthony ave to Reggae pioneer Derrick Irie and Jamaican entrepreneur Carla Rowe. He grew up with his parents in Detroit MI on W. Mcnichols (6 Mile).

He had always loved music and as a matter of interest, delved into music at an early age, exactly in his 9th grade. He started by recording music with the rap group “StreetGradz (G-3, Cris, Kev, OgStraight Drop & Evan The TwerkGod)” at RJ98, on the west side of Detroit. It was RJ98 who also recorded Big Sean.

Rowe didn’t stop there. When he graduated from high school, he went back to New York to pursue a career in music.

He stayed in New York until he had successfully brought demos to label offices. He later went back to NY where he progressed in his career. Still on the path of laying a landmark in the music industry, Rowe signed a digital distribution deal with Island Def Jam for his debut single “I’m Face The Great”. One of his outstanding features that has helped his career in the music industry grow is his passion. In a few descriptive words, he is focused and resolute and his passion for music has kept him thriving in his pursuit.

Rowe is motivated and inspired by his father and a famous rapper in Detroit Big Herk. In 2006 they did a collaboration and released a song together for a movie called “Project 313” While he resided in Detroit, Rowe toured round US and Jamaica, all in pursuit of his musical career. He is still basking in the euphoria of his dreams as a legendary musical artist. One cannot help but say that his presence in the musical world, and his approach to music is an emergence of a new musical wave.
